Outpatient Clinic for Complementary Medicine

Concept

Outpatient consultation and therapy in the University Outpatient Clinic  for Complementary Medicine of the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin at the Campus Berlin Mitte
Naturopathic and complementary medicine are often used in Germany but only partially scientifically studied. The University Outpatient Clinic for Complementary Medicine combines research and practice. We investigate naturopathic and complementary medical treatment procedures within the framework of research projects and offer our patients evidence-based therapies.

The basis of our range of treatments is conventional medicine, supplemented by naturopathic and complementary medical diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Our focus is on the holistic approach of patients, on a particularly empathic doctor-patient relationship and on health promotion and prevention. This interaction of school and complementary medicine is also referred to as Integrative Medicine. In addition to outpatient consultation and therapy, individual health coaching and health training are offered at the Seminar Center for Prevention and Integrative Medicine e.V.

The Charité Outpatient Clinic for Complementary Medicine at the Campus Berlin Mitte is based on the successful work of the Charité Outpatient Clinic for Prevention and Integrative Medicine (CHAMP), which existed from 2007-2012 and was awarded the title of "Land of Ideas 2008" in the innovation competition.
